We have been exploring the magic of mixing colours.
After establishing that Red, Blue and Yellow were the Primary Colours, children tried to figure out what the Secondary Colours would be and what Hues would come out of mixing them together in various combinations.
We have used a real professional Colour Wheel to verify our mixing assumptions.
Children have created some interesting takes at blending colours and then proceeded to creating a Really Colorful Picture.
Great fun, got a bit messy at times, but hey, the results were good!
