Creating 3D books with animated parts to make the story even more interesting ...
Kids have been exploring geometric stained glass designs of American architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
They have learned how stained glass artwork is designed, from designing the pattern on the paper, called CARTOON, preparing pieces of glass and assembling the design into the final piece.
Children have seen some of Frank’s beautiful geometric designs created their own colourful designs.
We have used colour acetate sheets instead of glass, but the outcome was equally impressive.
Although the weather wasn’t too sunny or bright, the colourful artwork has definitely brightened the day!
Great work everyone!
