The theme today was: Frank Lloyd Wright’s window designs.
We looked at many beautiful Wright’s geometric designs for stained glass windows and tried to create our own versions both by tracing the shapes and cutting, arranging and sticking translucent shapes on a “window”…
Kids tried arranging geometric shapes and patterns that can be made with rectangles, triangles, squares.
They discovered, that by overlapping the shapes new colours can be achieved, creating beautiful colour collages.
We were lucky, as with the longer days we managed to test the designs on the window and look through on the world outside in colour!
Hope they will brighten your home in the spring sunshine.
