During our last session at Thornhill this term we have tested building skills constructing a real life size geodesic dome!
The challenge got very exciting, as the success relied on good teamwork, precision and following instructions. Children have examined the scaled model of the dome to have better understanding of how the dome structure works.
The Dome stood up, big enough to fit everybody inside.
Next kids tried to construct their own designs. They stated it was more tricky, as the construction required lots of hands to stabilise it, before it was ready to stand on its own.
Well done everyone!
