Building Bridges

This week we are undertaking an engineering task of constructing bridges.

After learning about different types of bridge constructions and looking on pictures of some of the tallest and longest bridges in the world, children designed their own.

The challenge was to cross the “river” and that the structure had to be strong enough to hold the weight of a toy vehicle.

The result: a variety of amazing bridges designs!!
