The task this week was to design and create a board game. We had lots of fun!

Using their imagination kids came with lots of exciting ideas for their designs and the rules of their games.

The children based their games on some of well known classics, adapting them to their custom ideas, as well as coming up with some amazing new designs of their own!

We also have made our own dice. Due to variety of rules kids have put together 6-, 8-, and 12-sided dice, using templates. They have also made some cue cards, game money and variety of custom design pawns.

We had several “chase from start to finish” games, with different themes ranging from Minions, football and maths to Pokémon and Dr Who.

There were also chess-like games with themes of Ninjas and Knights .

After the designs were completed it was a great fun to challenge friends to a test round of the new designed game!
