stamp city
Printing the whole city with the stamps that we have created…
This week children were learning how to make stamps.
Each child had to come up with a couple of designs that could be cut out, attached to the stamp base and used to stamp a picture of a city.
Kids had lots of interesting ideas, creating various parts of buildings, plants, patterns, animals and even snow!
Then they all shared their stamps with friends, each creating a different composition representing their imaginary towns.
There was lots of fun working out how to make a stamp with letters – remembering that they had to be a mirror image of the final stamp.
Well done everyone!
