Autumn term started with an active workshop learning how to measure the world around us. Children used measuring tape to find out how big our room was, how tall the doors and windows, what size the tables were and how tall they were themselves. We learned abut centimetres, metres, inches and other ways we can quantify the size of our surroundings.
As the tape measure has got two ends, good teamwork was required to accomplish the task. Now we know who is the tallest in the group.
