Exploring shapes, forms and light we created shadow puppets. Kids used their great imagination inventing various creatures as well as practicing their design, precision and cutting skills.
From simple outlines on the stick to more complex puppets, children have created a whole array of characters. They have learned how to design and construct figures with moving parts and how to cut the paper to give their designs more details and character.
They have experimented with relation between size and distance from the light source, getting skillful at making the figurines in perfect contrast with the background.
Then the puppets came to life and interacted with each other!
