This week we had three exciting construction sessions at the Museum of London Docklands with Year 5 pupils from Southwood Primary, Dagenham.
We have learned about the transition of Docklands from word’s busiest docks to thriving office and commercial centre with some of London’s tallest buildings.
Children have looked at elements that buildings are made of, tested some structural solutions and explored making 3D structures.
Hope the information and experience will help them with the school’s architectural project that they are working on this week.
