Children observed how the shapes change, depending on the way we look at objects.
We started with constructing cubes using nets patterns provided. They have learned, that there are eleven different ways to draw a mesh of the cube. They checked that theory throughout !
They have counted 6 faces required to make the cube, 12 edges and 8 vertices. We also transformed some of the cubes into dice, learning that the sum of points on the opposite sides of the dice are always 7, so we did a lot of counting!
Having made several cubes they designed structures, which we have looked upon from different sides: top, back, front, left and right. There were sooo many ways that you can stack the cubes!
