How do you turn flat triangles into 3D?

We have managed to construct an array of 3D geometric forms, ranging from a simple 4-faced TETRAHEDRON, a cube  to a complex 20-faced ICOSAHEDRON. 

Children were amazed how initially difficult looking task has changed into a fun challenge with endless possibilities.
