Quilling Designs

Learning how to transform colourful strips of paper into 3D designs and patterns…

The art of quilling paper has been around for hundreds of years. It is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. The designs can be glued into background or exist without it as a 3D paper form.

Kids have learned how to roll paper strips using special tools and how to create shapes and glue them together.

Children came with lots of interesting ideas in their designs, with some imaginary landscapes, animals and even Christmas themed ornaments.

Although the exercise required quite a bit of focus, patience and perseverance the results were truly impressive!

Well done everyone!
