Frank Gehry

Creating 3-dimensional houses that can fold into a flat pack…

Children have been introduced to architecture of an American architect Frank Gehry.

His buildings are easily recognised for their flamboyant forms, colours and general lack of right angles!

We have looked at many examples of great public buildings that Gehry has designed and got inspiration for our own designs.

The outcome was quite impressive; kids designed a great variety of buildings ranging from houses, through museums, concert halls, schools and “public spaces with sculptures”, with lots of super-crazy forms and shapes!

It was fantastic to see so many creative designs.

Well done everyone!
