3D Surfaces

3D surfaces

Constructing 3-dimensional forms folding sheets of paper

This challenge required lots of patience: we had to fold a piece of paper along numerous lines to turn it into origami 3D folded surfaces, which then could be shaped into various shapes.

Depending on the folding patterns kids have achieved different designs.

Folded paper structures became strong enough to support a glue stick, sellotape roll and few other quite heavy objects.

Using their imagination children also used the forms to create masks, fans, monster claws, hats and few other props and decorations.

Well done  everyone!
